About me
Mr. Dharmesh Sampat has a passion for developing products. His professional experience spans Ed-Tech / E-Learning, Mobility-as-a-Service, Streaming Media, Privacy, Data Governance, Security and Technology Solutions. He held the position of Senior Vice President at Sonic Foundry, working with the executive leadership to define product strategy. He also led product, and engineering, initiatives. He also has held platform leadership positions at a few startups. He has worked with small, medium and Fortune 500 clients, including large universities.
During his time at Sonic Foundry, Dharmesh worked with hospitals and medical schools to lead the development of video applications for multi-stream recording and playback, improving workflows and experience for grand rounds and extracting metadata from video to enhance search. His current interests are in the areas of Mixed Reality, Artificial Intelligence and Medical IoT.
Most recently, Dharmesh has been instrumental in championing an agile transformation journey and helping teams adopt an agile mindset.
Dharmesh holds a Master’s of Engineering degree in Computer Technology from the University of Mumbai and a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Engineering from the University of Pune. Dharmesh was credited for co-authoring a method for validating captured data awarded by Controller General of Patents Designs and Trademarks, India Patent #190465.
